Watch the Trailer for The Decemberists Video Album, Here Comes the Waves: The Hazards of Love Visualized

The Decemberists has set a date for the online premiere of its “full-length video album,” titled Here Comes the Waves: The Hazards of Love Visualized.

The video, to become an iTunes exclusive, is a collaboration between four filmmakers specializing in different forms of animation. As a result, Here Comes the Waves became a stylistic collage of referenced imagery, rather than a play-by-play of Colin Meloy’s rock opera plot or a loose tribute to Wes Anderson’s Rushmore.
