Little Richard is anything but a quitter. The boisterous rock ‘n’ roll star—one of the first inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame back in 1986—is ready to get back to business after recent hip surgery.
Currently recovering in Nashville, the rock legend told The Associated Press that he hopes to “get back on the road as soon as possible.” And once there? He’ll “be shouting ‘Shut Up’ and rocking like the old days.” Hells yes, friends.
For Richard, who turned 77 this month, to still be touring is nothing short of awesome. We wish him the best of luck. Take care of that hip, sir!

i saw little richard nine years ago, and was amazed by how much energy he had. and he was so humble! he never missed a chance to thank the fans and acknowledge that he wouldn't be there if not for us, and invited fans to dance on stage pretty much every song. i highly recommend going to see him if you get the chance.
