Modest Mouse, Blitzen Trapper, The Decemberists, More Present Charity Holiday Ornaments

Finding the perfect holiday gift for audiophiles, no matter how eclectic their tastes, usually results in the purchase of one of three items: a concert ticket, an iTunes gift card, or a limited edition 7-inch. Boring!

Fortunately, for the fan who listens to Modest Mouse, Blitzen Trapper or The Decemberists, there exists a better option. Just in time for the start of holiday shopping, the Eugene, Ore.-based Glass Casters Union has released this year’s batch of limited edition recycled glass ornaments, designed by said bands (pictured) and more. Ornaments from Bright Eyes, Wolf Parade, Menomena and Califone even come with tags autographed by the bands themselves.

In the Union’s usual spirit of giving, all proceeds go toward homeless and low-income families in Eugene. For more information, visit the Glass Casters Union on MySpace.
