Morrissey and McCartney Set to Collaborate

Psych! Sorry, sorry. The headline is true, though, but the McCartney in question is Sir Paul’s daughter, Stella. Also, um, we’re not talking music, but rather, shoes. Now, if you’re still excited, read on!

Morrissey and Stella McCartney, both vegetarians, are planning to team up to create a line of leather-free shoes. McCartney told The Daily Mail: “I’m working with Morrissey on a line of leather-free shoes which I’m really excited about. We are still in the early stages, but the shoes could be launched next year.”

That’s about it as far as details on the collaboration go, but Morrissey’s been keeping busier than usual recently. His b-sides collection, Swords, was released in late October, and he’s currently on the road supporting it.
