Tickets On Sale Now for Brooklyn Vegan Haiti Benefit Featuring Zach Galifianakis, Britt Daniel and Justin Vernon
If you live in Brooklyn (or can get there before tomorrow), you should be refreshing your browser every 30 seconds to get your tickets to the benefit show for Haiti put on by Brooklyn Vegan. Tickets for the Saturday night show went on sale at 12 p.m. EST today for $35 (they will be $40 at the door, but the event will likely sell out). They’ll also have more expensive VIP tickets available for fans with the funds. All the money goes straight to Haiti, part to an orphanage there and part to the Red Cross.
The show’s line-up is full of Paste favorites including comedians Zach Galifianakis, Wyatt Cenac from The Daily Show and Janeane Garofalo. Musical guests include Britt Daniel from Spoon, Justin Vernon (he of Bon Iver fame) and John Shade (folk rocker Dave Godowsky’s new project). Each guest will do a short set.
The show is at the Music Hall of Williamsburg, doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the sets start at 8. There may be more artists signing on before the show Saturday night as well.
If you can’t get to Brooklyn, you can still help by giving money. Donate through Paste and get access to hundreds of songs from our download vault.
