Dave Rawlings Machine to Tour West Coast in February

Sidekick-turned-frontman Dave Rawlings is getting his Machine into gear for a West Coast tour set to start next month. Afters years of recording and touring in support of other musicians (namely Gillian Welch and Old Crow Medicine Show), Rawlings released his first solo effort, Friend of a Friend, last November and began touring with his band shortly thereafter.

The Dave Rawlings Machine played a number of shows across the South and Midwest in the fall, closing this tour with a performance with Emmylou Harris at Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry on Dec. 19.

Hitting the road again on Feb. 2, the band will spend two weeks touring the West Coast, winding down in Olympia, Wash., on Feb. 16.
