David Hasselhoff has high hopes for his new reality show. “This show is going to be like Fame, because my house is crazy,” he said at the opening of The Pee-Wee Herman Show at Club Nokia in Los Angeles recently. Indeed, the star of Baywatch, Knight Rider and German pop will be featured as the focus of a reality show for at least ten 30-minute episodes on A&E later this year.
Most recently, Hasselhoff has been occupying the role of judge on NBC America’s Got Talent, but he announced his resignation from that show earlier this month.
His new, as-yet-unnamed reality show will give the world a behind-the-scenes look at Hasselhoff’s home life. Apparently the show will largely focus on his gig as a single dad, as he tries to help daughters Taylor-Ann, 19, and Hayley, 17, break into the recording industry.
This isn’t the first time the 57-year-old has aspired to join the likes of Speidi and the fine folks of Jersey Shore. In 2007, he was scheduled to star in another reality show, Tales of the Hoff, on E!, but the series never transpired.
