Does everything those Grizzly Bear guys touch turn to gold? In the last year alone, they’ve comprised half of a damn fun mash-up EP with Lil Wayne, released one of best albums of 2009 and made Steely Dan’s Michael McDonald cool again.

Now, the band has taken one of electro-soul quintet Hot Chip’s funkiest synth jams in its gaping maw. The Brooklyn foursome’s beautiful version of “Boy from School” re-imagines the song as a mournful acoustic hymn.
