Wu-Tang's RZA to Write, Score and Direct Eli Roth-Produced Kung Fu Movie

Wu-Tang Clan member and generally entertaining dude RZA is done merely dabbling in movies (he’s appeared in American Gangster and Coffee and Cigarettes and has scored several films, including Kill Bill). The video-game lover is currently working on a kung fu film with producer Eli Roth. The movie, titled The Man with the Iron Fist, was written by the rap icon and will also cast him in a new role: director.

The film is all “martial arts fans could want combined with RZA’s superb musical talent,” Roth told CHUD, “This project has been his dream for years, and I’m thrilled to be a part of it. And fans should know that yes, there will be blood… This ain’t no PG-13.” He also said RZA has been studying the directing technique of none other than Quentin Tarantino, who approves of the project.
