Big Ears Fest Finalizes Lineup With Sufjan Stevens, Adrian Belew, Liturgy, More

February 18, 2010  |  10:00am

The second annual Big Ears Festival in Knoxville, Tenn. features an eclectic lineup for music fans who may not be able to make it to one of the bigger East/West coast festivals. The March 26-28 weekend will feature special performances, including the only planned live performance of Clogs’ The Creatures in the Garden of Lady Walton with guest vocalists Sufjan Stevens and Matt Berninger and Aaron Dessner of The National. The festival will also mark punk anarchist band The Ex’s the first performance below the Mason-Dixon line.

The event promises to see a lot of intra-band collaboration and, in addition to music, the festival has art installations, a film program, workshops, lectures, interactive experiences and more. Fans can get tickets to individual concerts or buy one of a limited number of all-access passes for the entire weekend on the festival’s website.
