Boondock Saints II Coming to DVD/Blu-ray

All through the aughts, writer/director Troy Duffy promised fans a sequel to his 1999 cult classic, Boondock Saints. We even had a glimmer of hope in 2008 with the news that the film had gone into production.

Last year, we saw the trailer for Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day, and continued to wait for the day it would hit the big screen.

And it did, if only in limited release. In October of last year, All Saints Day was released to select theaters across the country. Most theaters, though, required a specific request for the movie before projecting it onto the silver screen. So after all the build-up and all the waiting, Boondock fanatics who actually saw the sequel in theaters are few and far between.

But all is not lost. The movie is coming to DVD and Blu-ray on March 9, so those who’ve been waiting nearly a decade for All Saints can finally get their fix. Here’s hoping it’s not as terrible as they say.
