Getting defriended sucks. As we rack up friends on Facebook, Twitter and all the other myriad social media outlets cropping up, defriending is reserved for the worst of the worst—the scourge of the earth. Really, who could deserve such a fate more than cancer?
This Thursday, Feb. 11 at 7:30 p.m., some of the great minds of comedy and music will join together at the Moore Theatre in Seattle to laugh cancer right out of town for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Defriending Cancer benefit. The event will be hosted by Todd Barry and feature comedy from Eugene Mirman, Tim Heidecker (of Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!), Tig Notaro, Neil Hamburger and Natasha Leggero.
