Dawes, Cory Chisel & The Wandering Sons Take Jason Boesel on the Road

February 15, 2010  |  1:25pm

Jason Boesel, drummer for Rilo Kiley and Conor Oberst's Mystic Valley Band, stepped out from behind the kit on his debut solo album, Hustler's Son, released in January. Now he's taking the stage front and center for the very first time on tour in support of the album, opening for Dawes and Cory Chisel & The Wandering sons this month and next. Dawes will take the stage a little early each night, supporting Boesel as a backing band. Check out the tour dates below—and if you can't make it to a gig, download Boesel's single "I Got the Reason #1" right here.
