Snow Day Update: This event is still on, despite inclement weather, and Paste editor-in-chief Josh Jackson will be in attendance.

While we enjoy cracking open a cheap beer at a concert as much as the next show goer, we also believe it’s important to seek out Signs of Life in all of culture—brews included. It was in that spirit that we compiled our list of Best American Breweries of the Decade late last year. And now, we’re going to celebrate those very beer makers in New York City.
But we’d also like to share these great beers with folks like you, our readers, so we’re hosting a party at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10, at Stag’s Head at 51st & 2nd in Manhattan. The night will feature 16 taps, each dedicated to one of our favorite breweries. All beers will be available for the mind-blowingly awesome price of $4 each. Here are the 16 featured breweries:
1. Allagash Brewing (Four)
2. Victory Brewing (Prima Pils)
3. Wayerbacher Brewing (Quad)
4. Rogue Ales (Dry hopped St. Rogue Red)
5. Lagunitas (Maximus IPA on cask)
6. Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales (either Madrugada Obscura or Oro de Calabaza)
7. Oskar Blues (Gordons)
8. Great Divide Brewing (oak-aged Yeti Russian Imperial Stout)
9. Sierra Nevada (Bigfoot)
10. Brewery Ommegang (3 Philosophers or Chocolate Indulgence)
11. North Coast Brewing (La Merle)
12. Dogfish Head Brewing (Worldwide Stout)
13. Stone Brewing (Ruination IPA)
14. Avery Brewing (Salvation)
15. Sam Adams (Imperial White)
16. Brooklyn Brewery (Blast, Double IPA)
Please RSVP to letters@pastemagazine.com if you’d like to attend. Hope to see you there!

I suggest adding Bells Two Hearted Ale!
Good call on the Rogue!
I need to try the rest of these, thanks for the list!
Hope that there will be a "rain check" because of the snow!
Glad to see the snow day update. Good news!
The 10 best [American] breweries of the decade? Great Divide, Weyerbacher, Lagunitas and Oskar Blues? I don't think so. You need to get out and about the U.S. more.
