Celebrate Ted Leo's New Album With Karaoke Backed by Ted Leo

Many a fan has dreamed of joining their favorite band onstage, of rocking out while backed by a favorite drummer or screaming into the same microphone as a favorite frontman. On March 9, Ted Leo & the Pharmacists will make that dream come true at the release party for their new album The Brutalist Bricks at Brooklyn’s Knitting Factory. After a brief performance of old and new music, they’ll spend the latter part of the evening acting as the backing band for an evening of karaoke.

The songs available will be chosen in advance and posted at the door. They’ll also soon be posted on the brand new/right-now-still-under-construction TedLeo.com.

For fans who don’t live in the Brooklyn area, not to worry. The band will be hitting the road shortly after the March 9 show. Although there’ll be no karaoke (that we know of) during those show, we’re sure Leo and Co. will be happy to hear fans sing along to the new album’s lead single.
