Gotham City’s hometown hero may be coming to an arena near you soon. According to The Hollywood Reporter, DC Comics and Warner Bros. are developing a Batman stage show, tentatively titled Batman Live.
The show will not be a musical or a Broadway-style production; instead, Batman Live will bring the superhero to life in a family-friendly arena show. Alan Burnett, whose resume includes both the Batman and Superman television shows, and animated films Batman: Mask of the Phantasm and Green Lantern: First Flight, will write the script which will reportedly involve several different villains.
