HBO certainly didn’t waste any time on its latest decision. After airing just one episode of The Wire creator David Simon’s latest endeavor, Tremé, the network went ahead and reserved a second season spot for the show.
So far things are looking good for the New Orleans-based series, set just after Hurricane Katrina left the city in shambles. After all, 1.4 million viewers tuned in to see the series premiere last Sunday. Season two shooting is scheduled to resume this fall in the Big Easy.
