Hipster Puppies, that highly effective workplace time-waster and home of pretentious pups from across the country, announced today that it had achieved what every guy with a sort-of funny idea and Tumblr dreams of: a book deal.
Like Fake AP Stylebook and Shit My Dad Says before it, Hipster Puppies will soon make the transition from the interwebs to a real, hold-it-in-your-hands book, which, as Hipster Puppies’ editor (and master Tweeter) Christopher Weingarten noted for those under the age of 25, “is just like a Tumblr, except you can keep it on your toilet tank.”
Weingarten is seeking submissions of the hippest canines out there to include in the tome, which will be released by NAL/Penguin. (Paste web editor Austin L. Ray’s very own hipster puppy, Thurston—pictured above—made us all very proud when he appeared on the blog earlier this year.) He’s posted instructions on his site, and proud owners snooty dogs everywhere can email high-res images to hipsterpupbook@gmail.com.
