Jennifer Connelly to Star in Ron Howard's Cheaters?

Jennifer Connelly is being touted for a role in comedy movie Cheaters.

The 39-year-old actress would star alongside Winona Ryder, Vince Vaughn and Kevin James in the movie, which will be directed by "Angels and Demons ":http://www.pastemagazine.com/articles/2009/05/angels-demons.html filmmaker Ron Howard.

Connelly would play Vaughn’s partner in the project, which tells the tale of a friendship group torn apart when they see Ryder’s yet-to-be-named character cheating on her husband, portrayed by James, Deadline.com reports.

Oscar-winning actress Connelly has a number of movies coming up including drama What’s Wrong With Virginia? alongside Ed Harris and Emma Roberts and comedy Salvation Boulevard with Pierce Brosnan and Marisa Tomei.

Cheaters would be a new venture for Connelly, who has only previously starred in one comedy movie, 2009’s He’s Just Not That Into You alongside Jennifer Anniston and Drew Barrymore.

The movie is scheduled to begin production in Chicago in the coming months and is due for release sometime in 2011.
