Over the Rhine Heads to the Studio With Joe Henry, Adds Tour Dates

Husband and wife duo Over the Rhine have been Paste favorites since our inception, so we were happy to catch Linford Detweiler’s latest long letter announcing that he and Karin would soon be heading west to record the latest first Over the Rhine record since 2006’s The Trumpet Child with Grammy Award-winning producer Joe Henry.

The new record will be released on the band’s own label, Great Speckled Dog. In the four weeks leading up to their trip out west to see Henry, they’re asking fans for donations to help fund the new album. They’ll also be selling some old musical instruments and recording equipment on their website soon. Can’t make a donation and don’t want any Over the Rhine consignment? Surely purchasing a ticket to one of their upcoming concerts would help fund the new album as well. The dates are below.
