Lisa Kudrow launched an online comedy series called Web Therapy in 2008 on Lexus’ internet channel Lstudio.com. The 5-10 minute episodes cast Kudrow as Fiona Wallace, a quirky psychiatrist who counsels patients via webcam. Now, according to The Hollywood Reporter,, Showtime, the home of Weeds, Dexter and Californication, has picked up the series. In the TV version of the show, three of the short web episodes will air together to produce the half-hour show. New content will be filmed to show between the short takes. The series is set to premiere at the end of this year.
