Amanda Palmer is anything but conventional, so it makes sense that her Moog appearance is a little off the beaten path as well. Speaking of beats, be sure to check out the former Dresden Dolls singer’s unorthodox performance of “Missed Me,” where she and her band start the number in a loading dock, Palmer wielding a lone drum stick and banging on anything that will stand still.
With this characteristically husky-voiced performance, Palmer kicks off the second season of the “Live at Moog Music” series, a time when performers are given access to Moog Music Factory’s vast array of synthesizers and other fun instruments.
Watch Palmer take full advantage of Moog’s Asheville, N.C. studio in her first song. For all three live videos and a free MP3 from the session, just head to LiveAtMoog.com.

Amanda Palmer RULES.
Those videos were great - kind of surprised to see Guitar Hero (one of my least favorites from her debut) be my favorite of the session and Runs In the Family (One OF my favorites from the aforementioned solo debut) be my least favorite.
But, the band absolutely kills it throughout.
Looking forward to the rest of the season!
