Wichita Recordings Celebrates 10th Birthday With Vinyl Releases From Bright Eyes, Bloc Party, More

London-based Wichita Recordings turns 10 this year, and to mark the occasion they’ll be releasing several of their bands’ albums in vinyl form as well as hosting a handful of birthday shows. First up: To coordinate with Record Store Day, Wichita will be offering 1,000 copies or fewer of some of their favorite albums—some that have been previously released on vinyl and some that are new to that format.

Bright Eyes’ Fevers and Mirrors was the label’s first release a decade ago, so it’s only fitting to count that album among the anniversary releases. Also available for the first time on vinyl will be albums by The Cribs and Bloc Party and Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ debut. Check out Wichita’s website for more information about the upcoming birthday festivities.
