Eels Announce Another New Album, Tour

May 25, 2010  |  2:00pm

Mark Oliver Everett and his band Eels are set to release their third new album in a little over a year on Aug. 24. The 14 tracks of Tomorrow Morning will serve as the third part of a trilogy that includes Hombre Loco (June 2009) and End Times (Jan. 2010). Prolific folks, no?

For four years before the release of Hombre Loco, Eels were pretty much unheard from. The release of the album coincides with a world tour starting Aug. 4, the first live shows that the band will play since the release of the trilogy of albums. The tour will start in California before taking them to Europe and Asia for most of August and September. In October, they will be back in the U.S. and will finish back in California, close to where they started.
