Spirited folkie/multi-instrumental sensation Elvis Perkins has a new song to share with the world. Considering his epic flair for making remarkably delicious stew out of whatever’s in the refrigerator (listen to 2009’s The Doomsday EP to hear clarinets, trombones, giant bass drums, and much more), should we be surprised that Perkins is debuting this new work via Skype via a Gabe & Max 100 Seconds webisode via the internet? Perhaps not. You can watch below to see how this definition-dodging bandleader throws us yet another curve ball. Suffice it to say, the song is unlike, um, anything he’s done to date:

Dear Corey,
Why waste our time with this? There's no song. This is not comedy. It's annoying. Please think before you post things advertising music, that will waste people's time and actually provide no music...or a single chord. If it were actually funny it would be one thing, but honestly it's really not. Or just say they're on a comedy show...and not allude to them playing a new song.
