Jimmy Fallon to Host 2010 Emmys

If you catch this year’s Emmy awards, you can expect to see SNL cast-member-turned-late-night-talk-show-host Jimmy Fallon directing traffic. The Late Night star has been tapped as the 2010 Emmy host, something he says in a press release “has been a dream of mine ever since they told me I was doing it.”

Nominations for the awards show will be announced July 8, and the ceremony will be broadcast via NBC on Aug. 29.
