J.J. Abrams to Collaborate With Steven Spielberg

It seems that J.J. Abrams has a new movie in mind. (And it’s about time too, right? Dude needs to quit sitting around and start working on something for once in his life!) This time, he plans to pay homage to a Hollywood legend: Steven Spielberg.

According to Vulture, Abrams’ latest venture will be “a tip of the hat to [Spielberg’s] movies of the 70’s and early 80’s," with filming scheduled to begin this fall.

In a typical Abrams fashion, all the details are being kept under wraps at this point. We don’t yet know if a Jaws/E.T. mash-up awaits us, but the project will be headed up by Paramount Pictures.
