Joel McHale and Sofia Vergara to Announce Emmy Nominations

NBC has tapped some of its funniest personalities to present this year’s Emmy nominations. Community’s Joel McHale (who plays reluctant student Jeff Winger) and Modern Family’s Sofia Vergara (the hilarious Gloria) will be handling the announcements of this year’s Emmy nominees come July 8. The early morning ceremony will also include John Shaffner, the TV Academy chairman and CEO.

The actual Emmy awards ceremony will be broadcast live on Aug. 29 on NBC. Jimmy Fallon will host.
