Joseph Gordon-Levitt Cast in Two Thrillers

500 Days of Summer star Joseph Gordon-Levitt has been cast in a pair of thrillers. Vulture reports the actor is in negotiations to star in both Premium Rush, in which his character would be chased around New York City by a dirty cop in pursuit of a valuable envelope, and in the time-traveling sci-fi flick, Looper.

Rush will be directed by David Koepp, and Rian Johnson, who directed Gordon-Levitt in Brick, will helm Looper.
