Russell Crowe wants to star in a Bollywood movie.
The Australian actor, who is currently at the Cannes Film Festival promoting Ridley Scott-directed epic Robin Hood, confesses he would like to have a starring role in an Indian movie. “I don’t mean a typical Hollywood film that happens to be set in India, but a Bollywood film,” Crowe said. “The script would have to be right, and I’d have to understand completely what I was doing, but I fancy having a go.”
The 46-year-old leading man told Daily Mail columnist Baz Bamigboye he would even be prepared to sing and dance for the role. “I can do my own singing and I can dance a little bit,” he said. “I’m in no hurry. If something comes my way, fine, if it doesn’t, so be it.”
After finishing promotion on Robin Hood, Russell will be working on crime drama The Next Three Days alongside Liam Neeson and Elizabeth Banks.
