Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks Team Up With Beck

Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks have spent some time in the studio with Beck, creating, well, something. Thanks to commitments Malkmus made to his another little-known project called Pavement, it looks like we won’t get to hear the new tracks until sometime in 2011. Plus, Beck might take over production duties for the next Jicks album as a result of this collaboration. Sounds like the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
