Adidas Star Wars World Cup Commercial is Here, and is Awesome

Snoop Dogg and a lightsaber? Yes, please. Adidas has released a new commercial for its Originals line based on the legendary Star Wars Mos Eisley Cantina scene and geared toward World Cup watchers.

The ad features an incredible hodge-podge of characters, including Harrison Ford circa 1977 as Han Solo, David Beckham, Daft Punk, Jay Baruchel (the skinny, fro-sporting white kid from Knocked Up), Franz Beckenbauer (German soccer coach) and Noel Gallagher to name a few. But the star of show is undoubtedly Snoop Dogg, who wields a lightsaber with such ease and aplomb, you’d think it was a 9mm.

The commercial, which you can watch below, will make its television debut during the England vs. USA World Cup game on June 12.
