Corin Tucker Goes Solo

Corin Tucker is leading a new rock trio these days. Aside from a few Eddie Vedder collaborations, this is the first we’ve heard from her since Sleater-Kinney took a break in 2006.

Her latest effort, The Corin Tucker Band (comprised of the former Sleater-Kinney frontwoman backed by Sara Lund of Unwound and the Golden Bear’s Seth Lorinczi), recently announced plans to release their yet-to-be-titled debut album via Kill Rock Stars on Oct. 5.

Tucker and co. will support the album with a short West Coast tour following its release. Check out the dates below:
