The ultimate source for all things film-related, the Internet Movie Database (IMDb), announced a multi-year agreement with West World Media LLC and MovieTickets.com today.
West World Media, the industry’s top service for venue marketing and entertainment listings, will henceforth be the exclusive provider of any content related to movie showtimes on the popular website. Likewise, MovieTickets.com will be the sole online ticket provider for IMDb. Now, IMDb surfers will be able to buy tickets for films at any of the 195 theater chains worldwide with which MovieTickets.com is already affiliated on a co-branded site.
