Isobel Campbell and Mark Lanegan Ready New Album

Former Belle and Sebastian cellist-vocalist Isobel Campbell has teamed up with former Screaming Trees and Queens of the Stone Age member Mark Lanegan yet again. The duo will release their third studio effort, Hawk, Aug. 24 in the U.S. and Aug. 16 in the UK, according to Vanguard’s website.

As reported by Twentyfourbit, the follow-up to 2006’s Ballad of the Broken Seas and 2008’s Sunday at Devil Dirt will feature collaborations with Victoria Sand of Giant Sand, former Smashing Pumpkins guitarist James Iha and Willy Mason.
