Listen to a New Song From Mark Olson That Features Jolie Holland

We told you about Jayhawks founder Mark Olson’s sophomore solo effort, Many Colored Kite, which is due out July 27. The album is his first release on Ryko Records and features several talents alongside his own.

The first track from the album, “Little Bird of Freedom,” is now live on Olson’s MySpace for streaming. It features the talents of Jolie Holland, her dreamy vocals suffused with Olson’s in the wistful-but-still-upbeat tune. Check it out here.
