Pegi Young, long-time wife and back-up singer for Neil Young, has announced the release of her second solo album, Foul Deeds.
Young penned most of the album herself, with a few guest-writing spots given to the likes of Lucinda Williams and Will Jennings. “The CD is full of dark themes divorce, debauchery, disillusionment and despair,” she says in a press release. “So the title Foul Deeds summed it up.”
But don’t take her word for it. The album’s complete libretto is available on these very interwebs.
Set to premiere June 16 via MSN, the full-length will be available in stores and online June 29. Young is scheduled to tour the West Coast prior to Foul Deeds’ release this summer. Check out the dates below:
