True Blood Gets Renewed

Hot off the heels of True Blood‘s Season 3 premiere last week, HBO has announced the season-four renewal of the show. Looks like we’ll all be spending another summer twisted up in the swampy, bloody, sexy quagmire of Bon Temps, La., reports EW.com.

While the most-likely catalyst for this announcement was ratings-related (5.1 million people tuned in to the opener), some have speculated that it was Snoop Dogg and his ever-so-classy ode to Sookie Stackhouse that put HBO execs over the renewal edge.
