We let you know when Seattle’s 107.7 The End leaked two tracks (“Month of May” and “The Suburbs”) from the Arcade Fire’s soon-to-be-released album, The Suburbs. Now, they’ve pointed the way to a couple more (via Pitchfork), including the first U.S. single from the album, “Ready to Start,” as well as the UK single, “We Used to Wait” (via Zane Lowe).
One of the most-anticipated albums of the year, The Suburbs will be released Aug. 2 in the UK and Aug. 3 in the U.S. and Canada via Merge and the band’s own Sonovox label.

I love the use of the "Windows error" piano sound effect in "We Used to Wait"!
From what I've heard of the new Arcade Fire... it just doesn't sound like old Arcade Fire. It seems some of their spirit and uniqueness is missing. And some instruments... where oh where is the HURDY GURDY?!?!
I love both of the songs, Sure its not the old arcade fire, but bands change. I dont want another funeral or neon bible. I want something new and fresh. And thats what they have given me. Thank you aracde fire for your beautiful songs.
Well, unlike most bands I love, I wouldn't mind repeat albums because Funeral and Neon Bible were so great.
