The Internet: It is serious business.
At least, that seems to be the case in the recently-released teaser trailer for The Social Network, the Aaron Sorkin-produced, David Fincher-helmed drama about the creation of Facebook and the rise to power of its controversial founder, Mark Zuckerberg.
The Social Network stars Jesse Eisenberg as Zuckerberg and features Parks and Recreation’s Rashida Jones, Disney Channel alum Brenda Song and Justin Timberlake, who plays Napster co-founder and Facebook adviser Sean Parker. The film hits theaters Oct. 1.

David Fincher to Direct Aaron Sorkin's Facebook…
Ugh. I'm a huge Aaron Sorkin fan, but he's at his best when injecting levity into serious matters (West Wing), and at his worst when taking light fare very seriously (Studio 60). This trailer is so self-serious as to appear self-parodying. I'm nervous.
