Watch the Trailer for 'Gulliver's Travels,' Starring Jack Black

Who’da thunkit — Jack Black and Jonathan Swift, together at last.

The School of Rock star will bring his usual brand of zany man-child character development to a modern-day, 3D retelling of Swift’s classic odyssey, Gulliver’s Travels. Black’s version of the titular hero, a shorts-wearing, Star Wars-obsessed travel writer living in New York, winds up on the island of Lilliput after taking an assignment in Bermuda.

Gulliver’s Travels hits theaters December 22, with a formidable supporting cast that includes Emily Blunt, Billy Connolly, Romany Malco and Jason Segel.
