There’s no denying it: Betty White is so hot right now! The former Golden Girl has recently parlayed her appearance in a Super Bowl Snickers ad into a host’s spot on Saturday Night Live (secured, in part, by a vigorous online campaign on her behalf), and while that might be enough for any other 88-year-old, she’s not letting her unlikely career resurgence stop there.
As of this week, White is making waves with a new calendar for which she’s posed with animals and half-naked men, according to AceShowBiz. The comedienne is selling the calendar for the benefit of the Morris Animal Foundation based out of Denver, Colorado.
“Betty is classy, earthy and unassuming,” a spokesperson for the Foundation said in a statement. “She’s also got a fantastic sense of humor about herself—and that’s our idea of a centerfold!”
The 2011 calendar costs $12.99 and goes on sale in September, with proceeds going to the foundation, which invests in research that protects, treats and cures companion animals, horses and wildlife worldwide.
In addition, White’s sitcom Hot in Cleveland has been picked up for a 20-episode second season by TV Land. The show’s 10-show inaugural season debuted last month.
