Darth Vader Robs a Bank

What a wonderful story to get to write the day after Comic-Con. And really, that headline doesn’t seem that far-fetched to us. He is the enforcer of the Dark Side, after all. We’re honestly more confused about his use of a semi-automatic weapon. What a waste of mad lightsaber skills and Jedi training!

According to the New York Post, (a man dressed as) Darth Vader entered the Long Island branch of Chase Bank at 11:30 a.m. last Thursday and demanded the contents of the teller’s drawer. He made away with a bag full of cash, despite one brave bank patron trying to step in and save the galaxy day. Luckily, no one was reported hurt.

As of now, Vader is still at large. On his way to rendezvous with the Emperor back at the Death Star, if we had to take a guess.
