Guided by Voices Announces Reunion Tour With Classic Line-up

When we learned that the ‘93-’96 line-up of Guided by Voices would be performing at Matador’s 21st birthday party in Las Vegas, we used no fewer than five exclamation points to break the news. Using this five-to-one rationale, we’d need 85 pointed punctuation marks for this announcement: Guided By Voices is embarking on a full-fledged, 16-date reunion tour this fall (plus a performance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon).

Frontman Robert Pollard got together Tobin Sprout (guitar), Charles “Mitch” Mitchell (guitar), Greg Demos (bass) and Kevin Fennel (drums) for the tour, which will primarily feature music from the albums the group released between 1992 and 1996.
