Joseph Gordon-Levitt Rumored to Be "Interested" in Batman 3 Riddler Role

Fans who couldn’t make it to San Diego for Comic-Con still have something to get excited about.

FirstShowing is reporting that one of its Reliable Sources has uncovered a casting grid for Christopher Nolan’s follow-up to The Dark Knight, known only as Batman 3. The source has confirmed that The Riddler will be a villain in the film, but casting for the role is still up in the air.

One name that appeared on the grid is it-guy Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who is marked as “interested” according to FirstShowing. The news comes riding off an overflowing of praise for the Nolan-helmed, Gordon-Levitt-starring Inception.

Rumors of Nolan courting JGL for a role in Batman 3 surfaced last month on Deadline.com’s Hollywood gossip branch Hollywood Life. Gordon-Levitt’s reps, however, have denied the rumors.
