Say what you will about Kanye, (though, you know, he might not let you finish) but one thing the man does not lack is confidence. Appearing at Facebook HQ in a crisp, well-fitting tailored suit, ready to spit untested game definitely earns him some major points for poise.
Sometime Tuesday the Louis Vuitton Don Kanye West previewed three new songs from his upcoming album at Facebook headquarters in Palo Alto, Calif. “Mama’s Boyfriend,” “Chain Heavy,” and one that remained unnamed, but that Kanye called a “fun rap,” were done a cappella. (Sidenote: One of our favorite lines, in Kanye’s signature style, was “he just walked in Nobu like it was Whole Foods!” Well-played, Mr. West.)
These lines and more are expected to be found on West’s next studio release, which, according to his Twitter, won’t be called Good Ass Job anymore. Oh, and by the way, as of about noon EST yesterday, Kanye West has a Twitter. In his first five hours, he amassed more than 70,000 followers — a feat which, in itself, can be called a good ass job. Our favorite tweet thus far: “up! ran out of characters! somehow I knew that was gonna happen lol.” Yeezy FTW.
