Listen to Six Songs From Daft Punk's Tron: The Legacy Soundtrack
Seattle’s 107.7 FM is now streaming six tracks from Daft Punk’s soundtrack for the upcoming Tron: The Legacy, which will be released in theaters Dec. 17.
In March of last year, we reported that Daft Punk was given the green light to compose a full-length score for the movie, which is a remake of Disney’s 1982 Tron. The band’s last full-length release was 2005’s Human After All.
Both the original and the remake of Tron star Jeff Bridges. Daft Punk members Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Tomas Bangalter will make appearances in the film as well.
The film and the soundtrack was heavily promoted at the Comic-Con convention this weekend. It was the third year that Comic-Con has featured “exclusive” material hyping the release of Tron: The Legacy, a factor of Disney’s drawn-out hard-sell.
Six tracks are streaming on 107.7 The End, three of which are from Disney’s official site for the film. Get your listen on, y’all.
