London-based Filmmakers Launch Experimental-Video Blog, Tell No One

London-based filmmakers Luke White and Remi Weekes have shot inventive music videos for Shystie and Lavonz, a couple Converse test commercials and several shorts. Seeking to “open up the creative process,” the duo has now launched a blog, “Tell No One,” that showcases a unique series of 15 to 30-second lo-fi experimental videos.

Seven videos that explore various time remapping and tracking techniques have now been posted on White and Weekes’ blog via Vimeo.

On the site, the filmmakers say “Tell No One” is “intended to be a peek into our experimental process…Think of this as like an informal brainstorm. We love making music videos and commercials, so we hope this blog may attract the attention of music artists, production houses and even other film makers that would want to collaborate or even expand upon our ideas.”

For the duo’s latest video, “Experiment No. 006: Seaweed,” a 30-second clip showing a series of interlocking arms creating the image of seaweed, White says he “cut out the arms and then just jiggled them about really.” Check it out, below.
