Marvel Establishes Television Division

This week, Marvel Comics announced the start of a new TV division charged with increasing the presence of Marvel’s characters on the small screen, both in animated and live-action shows. Marvel execs have tapped Jeph Loeb, writer and producer of superhero shows Heroes and Smallville, to head up the division. Loeb will also investigate the possibility of direct-to-DVD Marvel series.
Not gonna lie, Jeph: We’re hoping for a superhero sitcom. And we’re hoping it will look something like this:
