July 27, 2010  |  2:50pm

If you like Scottish instrumental rock and Brooklyn, go to one of 45 websites that will be hosting digital screenings of Mogwai’s new film, Burning, at 3 p.m. EST (12 p.m. PST, 8 p.m. GMT) today. The film will feature footage from three of the band’s live performances at the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn. According to Crawdaddy, the sold out shows took place from April 27-29 last year.

A Q&A with frontman Stuart Braithwaite and the film’s director, Vincent Moon (of La Blogothèque fame), is also reported to accompany today’s screening. Burning will be released Aug. 24 and several North American venues are set to show the film in the coming weeks.
